Swimmer Michael Phelps picked up six more medals in London, including four gold and two silver, to retire as the most decorated Olympic athlete ever with 22 medals. His feat of eight gold medals at the 2008 Games in Beijing may never be surpassed. Phelps said in a recent interview that, while he will be involved with the U.S. swim team in the future, his days as a competitive swimmer are over.
