(KMOV) -- Monday marked the last day for voters to get in their absentee ballots for more than a dozen primary races in St. Louis, including the bid for mayor.

While the primary elections are Tuesday, those wanting to vote absentee can do so in person at the Election Board office on Tucker until 5 p.m. tonight.

Under city law, any voter may vote an absentee ballot if if she expects to be unable to visit their polling place on election day for any of the following reasons:

- Absence on Election Day

-Illness or disablity

-Religious belief

-Employment as an election authority

-Incarceration provided all qualifications for voting are met

The general election is on April 2.
