JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Gov. Jay Nixon sign legislation letting Missourians add their cellphone numbers to the state's No Call List for telemarketers.

Nixon scheduled signing ceremonies Thursday at senior centers in St. Louis and Kansas City.
Attorney General Chris Koster, whose office maintains the No Call List, attend both events.  Koster's 71-year-old mother was the first person to be added to the newly expanded list.

Cellphone numbers that are added to the list would be off-limits to most solicitations by phone call or text message. Koster's office has reported getting 150 to 200 calls a week from people complaining about telemarketing calls to cellphones.
