CLAYTON, Missouri – St. Louis County’s top elected official wants another term in office.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that county Executive Charlie Dooley announced Thursday that he will seek re-election in 2014.
Dooley has been executive since succeeding Buzz Westfall after Westfall died in office in 2003. Dooley, a Democrat, won a special election in 2004 and re-election in 2006 and 2010.
