DUISBURG, GERMANY - JULY 14: Coloured lights illuminate the former steel mill at the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord recreational park on July 14, 2012 in Duisburg, Germany. Located in the industrially-heavy Ruhr region that was once dominated by steel and coal production, the park incorporates the former facilities of the steel mill, including its blast furnaces, into a structure that is now open to the public. Visitors can climb over most of the former mill and the surrounding property has been planted with trees and grass. The park has also become a cultural venue, and especially in the summer months hosts a cinema, dance evenings with DJs and other recreational events. (Photo by Thomas Starke/Getty Images)
