Preparations are underway for next week's "Fallas" festival in Valencia, Spain. The Fallas festival is a week of fireworks and bonfires. Fallas are huge paper mache caricatures of famous national and international characters. They are built throughout the year before being displayed in the city squares for five days and then on March 19, the night of Saint Joseph, the patron saint of carpenters, they are burnt.
