SARITA, Texas (AP) -- A truckload of broccoli has more than veggies. The Border Patrol reports finding five tons of pot at a South Texas checkpoint. Agents were alerted to the illegal weed by a drug-sniffing dog. Authorities say the pot was wrapped in plastic and stacked on pallets in a truck carrying broccoli. Officials put the value of the load at more than $8 million. The driver and the marijuana have been turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
