SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- It was bad enough that his alleged attempt to rob a convenience store didn't work. But what really scared this teenager was that his mom would find out. Police in Salt Lake City say the teen held a knife to the store clerk's neck from behind. But the clerk turned around and smacked him in the face, knocking him to the floor. The teen asked the clerk not to call the police and then he added "Don't tell my mom" before running away.
