TOKYO (AP) -- Usually an airplane flight that lasts just over 26 seconds isn't the kind of thing you'd jump for joy about. But when it's a paper airplane flight, it's reason to celebrate. Japanese paper airplane expert Takuo Toda has set the latest world flight record for paper planes -- with his 26.1 second endeavor. But Toda isn't folding his tent just yet. He plans to fold some paper into another craft that can reach the holy grail of paper flight -- 30 seconds. In case you want to try for the mark someday, keep in mind the rules: no paste or cutting allowed -- and the plane must be made entirely of paper. That means no glue, tape or paper clips. Meanwhile Toda has his sights set higher -- literally. He'd like to launch a paper airplane from space -- and thinks he has a design that could survive re-entry.
