(KMOV.com) -- A Missouri man was so heartbroken and disappointed over the Kansas City Chiefs’ poor performance, it killed him.
Well, not exactly; but Sam Lickteig was such a big Chiefs fan, his daughters couldn’t resist adding a little humor to their dad’s obituary.
It said he passed away from complications of ms and heartbreaking disappointment caused by the Kansas City Chiefs.
“If we weren’t laughing, we’d be crying,” said his daughter Diana Hennessey. “My dad was a huge Chiefs fan and he loved his Chiefs and he also had a very, very, quick sense of humor.”
The obituary was published on the same day many Chiefs fans donned black at Arrowhead Stadium for the Cincinnati Bengals game in protest of the season and General Manager Scott Pioli.
