NEW YORK (AP) -- Love stinks. At least in Brooklyn. More than 100 people took a Valentine's Day tour of the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. New York City officials billed it as an "unforgettable" way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year. Michael Jennings says the tour was a surprise for girlfriend Nitisha Rawlings. He warned her it wasn't going to be very romantic. But he says it was "very beautiful." The sewage treatment plant isn't just for lovers. The city offers tours once a month. This month it happened to fall on Valentine's Day.
