UNDATED (AP) -- The rest of the condiment industry could be playing catch-up with Heinz. The company is reworking the ketchup packet. Now, you can squeeze the ketchup on your burger or dunk your fries in it. It's shaped like a small cup. The top can be peeled back for dipping, or the end can be torn off for squeezing. And it holds three times as much as a traditional ketchup packet. The designers said they even bought a used mini-van, to see how ketchup to go works on the go. The ketchup pack, introduced yesterday, will start appearing in some fast food restaurants in the fall.
