NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -- Thirty years of stealing has landed a woman in jail -- for just a day. Betty Pacocha of Kent, Conn. has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $700,000 from customers of the bank where she worked. She was sentenced yesterday to time served -- the one day she's already spent behind bars. She also must pay a $250,000 fine and perform 300 hours of community service. Prosecutors say Pacocha has repaid the bank in full using her retirement pension.
