NORTH BEND, Neb. (AP) -- Break out the jingle bells -- because Mike Eason already has the one-horse open sleigh. It's more than 80 years old and once belonged to Eason's father. The sleigh was restored about a dozen years ago. Eason also has made reindeer out of wood and Rudolph has a red light for his nose. This time of year, Eason shares his sleigh by putting it on the porch roof of his North Bend, Neb., farmhouse. Eason tells the Fremont Tribune he has taken his antique sleigh for a ride. But he used a snowmobile to pull it, not reindeer or a horse.
