HOUSTON – A 25-year-old man is accused of date raping a woman he met on Facebook, according to Houston police.
Delva Michaud was charged with sexual assault of an adult.
The victim told investigators she met Michaud on Facebook in May while she was a student in Louisiana. She said Michaud told her that he was a Houston police officer and his last name was Jamenson.
The woman moved to Houston in August and the two went on a date on the 18th of that month. After the date, Michaud drove her back to her apartment complex and parked. The two began to kiss, but she told him she did not want to have sex until she was married. That is when Michaud got aggressive, she said.
Michaud allegedly began grabbing the woman’s body parts and climbed on top of her and began pulling on her clothes.
She yelled for him to stop, but he refused.
“The harder you scream, the harder I go,” he said, then raped her in the car, according to court documents.
After it was over, he let her go.
The victim drove herself to Southeast Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she was given a rape kit examination.
She then identified Michaud from a photo lineup provided by police.
Michaud’s bail was set at $10,000.
