Target customers at many stores across the country found themselves stuck in long lines on Sunday. This as the company dealt with a computer glitch that disabled check-out registers.
Shoppers reported employees scrambling to find a solution—or refusing to accept any payments except cash.
Target issued the following statement late Sunday:
“Earlier this evening, Target experienced a glitch that impacted the speed of checkout at some of our U.S. stores.
Since that time, we’ve been able to restore our check-out process.
Once again, we sincerely apologize to anyone inconvenienced by this issue.”
