DAYTON, Texas – A 12-year-old girl was driving a car from the house to the barn in Liberty County when she ran over a 4-year-old sister.

She warned several children playing around the car to get out of the way. She drove the car a bit and the kids were still playing and yelling around the car. She warned the children again.

A short time later she stopped the car, got out and walked to the front of the car and saw that her four-year-old sister was pinned under the car.

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 911 call.

The girl was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital by Life Flight. She was in stable condition.
