(KMOV.com) -- A stray puppy was rescued after being trapped in a sewer Saturday afternoon.
Workers for the Metropolitan Sewer District found the three-month-old puppy near the intersection of Cote Brilliante and Arlington Ave. The rescue took about 45 minutes, and those who rescued the puppy say he was frightened.
The Humane Society says it will take the puppy in and then put him up for adoption.
Anyone interested in adoption can contact the Humane Society of Missouri's adoption center at 314-951-1562.
