(KMOV.com) -- Madison County Police have arrested two men in connection to an attempted home burglary while one resident hid from the suspects.

St. Jacob, Ill., police said an occupant of a home called 911 reporting two unknown suspects forced their way into the home as she locked herself in a room. The caller told police the suspects busted out a window to gain access to the house.

Police then reported the suspects fled the scene as officers arrived at the home.

Officers located the suspects’ vehicle, described as a grey colored Dodge truck, traveling near the area in St. Jacob. A Sheriff’s Deputy stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver and passenger.

Police identified the suspects as Daniel Bean and Zachary Fortner.

According to police, Bean and Fortner were taken to the Madison County jail with a $200,000 bond.

No formal charges have been filed.

The incident was reported happening by police on Thursday around 12:30 p.m. in the 11000 block of Rose Road.
