(KMOV.com) – After several days of spring weather, the News 4 viewing area is expected to receive another round of winter precipitation Sunday.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the southern half of the News 4 viewing area until 7 p.m.
The precipitation is expected to turn to all snow in the afternoon. News 4 meteorologist Kristen Cornett said the system is expected to move out of the area by late Sunday afternoon.
Areas south of St. Louis are expected to receive 1-3 inches of ice, sleet, and snow. Areas from Metro St. Louis to the north are only expected to receive one inch of winter precipitation.
