(KMOV) – A Wentzville lawyer has admitted to robbing three banks and shooting a Missouri state trooper.

Warren Gladders, 64, pleaded guilty to federal charges on Monday for robbing banks in Creve Coeur, Weldon Spring, and Marthasville in 2013.

Gladders was also arrested in September after getting into a gunfight with a Missouri trooper. During the confrontation, the trooper was wearing a bulletproof vest.

Gladders will be sentenced in October.
