Wanted man slams into police car going 130mph

INDIANOLA, Ia. (KCCI) -- A man was killed and a child injured after a high speed chase ended in Iowa on Friday.

Jeremiah Johnson took police officers on a chase through the city, then slammed his car into an empty police car.

Authorities report a police man standing by his car jumped out of the way as Johnson was driving over 100 mph.

After the crash, officers found Johnson dead then heard cries from a chid who was found on the floor of the car.

The child had been reported missing in December.

Johnson was wanted in Georgia on child cruelty and reckless driving charges.

No word yet on Johnson's relationship to the child.
