(KMOV) -- While tasty and delicious, Waffle House is asking people to go without Belgian waffles on Tuesday.

The national chain has asked for a boycott of the breakfeast staple in honor of the United States taking on Belgium in a win-or-go-home World Cup match in the Round of 16.

Waffle House, which has 1,700 stores in 25 states, doesn't actually serve Belgian waffles at any of its locations.

But still, you have to like the patriotism, right?
