ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -- A third woman is suing the Castlewood Treatment Center in west St. Louis County, claiming she was brainwashed into believing she was abused.

News 4 examined the allegations against Castlewood five months ago.

We interviewed Lisa Nasseff, a former patient who claimed Castlewood staff had her convinced she was a victim of satanic abuse and had witnessed a murder, even though she says it wasn’t true.

Nasseff said staff hypnotized her during her treatment for an eating disorder.

Several experts told us hypnosis is not considered a standard form of therapy for eating disorders.

Investigative reporter Craig Cheatham traveled to a conference in Texas to try to get a comment from Dr. Mark Schwartz, Castlewood’s clinical co-director, but he refused.

Castlewood has released statements denying the claims in the lawsuits.
