AFFTON, Mo. (KMOV) – A man is in custody after he allegedly stole a woman’s purse outside a market in Affton on Thursday.
Frank Moore, 24, was charged with second-degree robbery and stealing a credit card.
According to police, Moore approached a woman in the parking lot of Garner’s Market in the 4300 block of Seibert around 9:45 a.m.
Police said he grabbed her purse, which contained money and a debit card, and fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.
Authorities said they later found the car parked near Moore’s house. Police located him and took him into custody.
Moore remains in custody on a $50,000 bond.
