(KMOV) -- Pizza parlors, doughnut shops, and convenience stores could be eligible for a tax break on the food they make and sell.

A bill in the Missouri legislature would create new sales tax exemption on utilities used to produce food that is sold to customers.

Estimates say the new bill could reduce tax revenues between 4 and 20 million dollars a year.
