(KMOV) – Police are searching for two suspects after a 55-year-old woman and her 2-year-old grandson suffered wounds in a drive-by shooting in north St. Louis Monday night.

Authorities say four people were traveling in the 1900 block of Semple near Cote Brilliante when two men in a grey or silver Pontiac pulled up alongside them.

Police say the men got out of the car and fired multiple rounds at the victims’ vehicle.

The grandmother suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and the toddler was grazed in the stomach. Both were transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The other two occupants, a 22-year-old woman and 1-year-old girl, were not hurt.

Police say both suspects were black men in the 20s. One of them was wearing a white and yellow t-shirt and black pants.

The investigation is ongoing.
