(KMOV) -- Police said four people are dead after the owner of a south St. Louis home health care business fatally shot three employees before killing himself on Thursday.

Police said two men and two women were shot to death at AK Home Healthcare in the 2700 block of Cherokee around 1:50 p.m. Thursday. The business is located inside the Cherokee Place Business Incubator.

Authorities have identified the victims as being Khadra Muse, 44, Seaeed Abdulla, 29, and Bernice Solomon-Redd, 54.

Police said surveillance cameras showed an argument broke out at the business before a man identified as Ahmed Dirir, 59, killed the three victims, then turned the semi-automatic handgun on himself.

Authorities said they believe Dirir was the owner of the business and the other three were his employees.

The cause of the shooting was unclear and a complete investigation is underway

A single ambulance was parked outside the building as hundreds of people were gathered about a half-block away to see what was going on.

The business is in a neighborhood where many Hispanics have relocated in recent years. The street is lined with antique shops, kitsch stores and other shops.
