Police raid Metro East man’s home for child pornography

(KMOV) – An Alhambra, Ill. man was charged Friday after police raided his home and discovered child pornography.

According to the Belleville News-Democrat, Robert E. Godsey, 34, was charged with receipt, possession, and distribution of visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Authorities used tactical vehicles, a mobile command center, an ambulance, an ARCH medical helicopter, and a U.S Customs and Border Protection helicopter for the raid.

During the raid, police confiscated a Samsung notebook and external hard drive that contained approximately 600 videos and more than 1,000 images of child pornography.
