Ferguson crash into house
(KMOV.com) -- One person was injured after crashing into a home during a police pursuit in North County Friday evening.
Missouri Highway Patrol said started on I-270 after the suspected driver failed to stop for a traffic violation. The pursuit ended at Margo Avenue and Airport Road in Ferguson when the driver crashed into the corner of a house.
Police said the car hit the corner of Charles Henson’s home.
“Thank god, I wasn’t here and there was nobody inside the house,” Henson said, “I mean, that is the blessing part of it.”
Authorities identified the driver of the car as Nore Faupel, 30, as the only person injured in the wreck. Faupel had to be pulled out of the car and was barely responsive, said police. Her condition has not been released.
According to court records, Faupel was charged this past July with stealing a credit card from an elderly woman after surveillance photos caught her in the act.
Highway Patrol said charges for the crash have not been filed yet.
