Suspect charged in shooting at south St. Louis convenience store

(KMOV) – Police said they are investigating a homicide at a convenience store in south St. Louis after one person was found shot in the head.

The incident happened in the 3400 block of Chippewa around 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

The victim, a 32-year-old black male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they were viewing surveillance video and noticed the suspect standing outside the building.  The suspect, Antonio Muldrew has been charged with first degree murder, first degree assault, and armed criminal action.

The investigation is ongoing.
