(KMOV.com) -- Police are investigating after a teenager was shot near Laclede's Landing in downtown St. Louis on Saturday night.
Officers were called to the 200 block of Washington around 10:20 p.m.
A 16-year-old was reportedly walking in a vacant parking lot near the Arch when he heard gunfire. The victim told police he then realized he had been shot in the left foot.
Police searched for the suspect at Kiener Plaza but returned empty-handed.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.
Authorities say they are still searching for the suspect, but could not provide a description.
Last month, St. Louis Police added Laclede's Landing to its hot-spot patrols, and set up a mobile command unit in the area.
