(KMOV) – The Ferguson Police Department had officers at the scene of an incident involving a vehicle in a home Monday evening.

Authorities say a 14-year-old suspect was driving a stolen vehicle at a high-rate of speed when the suspect lost control and slammed into a home on the 400 block of Ballman Avenue.

According to the Ferguson Chief of Police, the vehicle then overturned after hitting the home shortly before 6 p.m. leaving a two foot-by-two foot hole in the house.

Police say the Chevy Blazer was reported stolen from St. Louis City but it is unclear when the vehicle was stolen or if there are more suspects involved.

The suspect was not injured in the collision. No other injuries were reported.

Further details into this investigation were not immediately known.
