JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police are searching for a man who donned a wig and medical scrubs to disguise his identity while robbing a bank in High Ridge, Missouri.
Deputies were called to a US Bank located inside a Schnuck's store in High Ridge around 1:30 p.m. Friday. Witnesses told police that a man had approached the teller and produced a note indicating he had a weapon. The man did not display the weapon, but left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a 30 to 40-year-old black male, approximately 5'7" to 6'0", wearing blue medical scrubs, a wig, and a black hooded sweatshirt. According to police, the man had attempted to disguise himself as a woman.
High Ridge police continue to investigate the robbery.
