Police say late night shooting in north St. Louis leaves teen dead

(KMOV.com) – A 15-year-old victim was killed in a shooting that took place at the intersection of Glasgow and University Friday night.

Donivan Chatman, 15, and two other victims were standing on the sidewalk when a maroon vehicle drove passed the intersection, reversed, and opened fire.

Chatman was shot in the torso, leg, and chest and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to reports, the second victim was not injured and the third victim fled the scene before police arrived. Authorities have not released the names of the other two victims.

Investigators are trying to locate the third victim. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. All calls are anonymous and callers may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2000 reward.
