(KMOV.com) -- One burglary suspect is in custody, and a second remains at large after a high-speed pursuit that began in Pine Lawn and ended with a crash near Glasgow Village.

Officers responded to reports of two men stealing items from a home in the 4200 block of Ravenwood around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities said the two suspects fled from police in a Pontiac Grand Prix. The suspect vehicle reportedly struck a police cruiser and another car during the escape.

Pine Lawn police chased the suspects for about 15 minutes. The suspect vehicle then crashed at Interstate 270 and Riverview.

One suspect was taken into custody at the scene of the crash. Authorities said the suspect was supposed to be babysitting children when he allegedly committed the burglary. He faces multiple felony charges, including child endangerment.

Officers reportedly found a 50" flat-screen television and other items in the vehicle's trunk.

Authorities have not identified the second burglary suspect.
