(KMOV) – Adam Paul on Monday was permanently reinstated as the mayor of Ellisville.
Judge David Lee Vincent had temporarily reinstated Paul in June on the grounds his due process rights were violated when the city added a charge to his April impeachment hearing.
Vincent on Monday made the ruling permanent in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
Paul was elected in April 2012 after campaigning against a Wal-Mart project. He had been removed after the city council found him guilty of violating the city’s charter for allegedly giving employees illegal orders, failing to control council meetings and other concerns.
