(KMOV.com) – The section of Interstate 64 near Chesterfield Airport Road that was closed for construction re-opened Sunday morning.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) closed down all lanes of I-64 at Chesterfield Airport Road and at Chesterfield Parkway West Friday evening so it could tear down two bridges that go over the highway.

All lanes and ramps of I-64 through the Chesterfield Valley after demolishing two bridges over the interstate have reopened.

Chesterfield Parkway West remains closed over the interstate as crews work to reconstruct a new, wider bridge.  The bridge will remain closed for four months.
