(KMOV.com) -- Cooperating School Districts placed 2,400 students in one of three school districts Saturday evening, but others remain in limbo.
As many as 300 students will now have to go to CSB.org and resubmit new choices for school transfers by 12 p.m. Monday.
The students, most from Riverview Gardens, lost out on the weekend lottery to be placed in one of their three choices to attend school.
“We’re now onto the phase of providing the parents whose children were not selected with additional options,” said Sherrie Werhner with CSD.
Werhner said Riverview Gardens’ parents whose children did not get selected in either Mehlville or Kirkwood and did not provide a second or third choice that every child will be placed that filled out paperwork in order to transfer.
Parents received two messages from the CSD with information and instructions for school assignments.
All of the Normandy students transferring to Francis Howell Districts got their requests filled.
Riverview Gardens parents left out must now pick a district they will be able to transport their children to. If not, they’ll give up on transferring and stay in Riverview.
