(KMOV) – At a Tuesday evening meeting, St. Louis County Council decided to allow the construction of a low-income senior living center in the area.
Residents are upset claiming they were never given an adequate notice about this project.
“The point is we, in Oakville, have not had a voice and that’s what I’m going to have to teach my daughter that in St. Louis county, it does not matter if you live in an unincorporated pocket,” said Lisa Crawford, an Oakville resident.
The county halted work on the project in June over the objections from residents. The contruction work will likely start again.
