ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A baby monkey born at the St. Louis Zoo on Halloween is now on full display at the zoo’s primate house.
The new monkey's name is Kivuli, which is Swahili for ghost or shadow.
Kivuli was born to mother Cecilia, 13, and father Kima, 6. Kivuli is Cecelia's first baby.
According to the zoo, colobus monkeys are found throughout the forests of east and central Africa. Infants are born with all white hair and a pink face, while adults are primarily black, with white hair encircling their face and half of their tail.
Visitors can now see Kivuli at the Primate House in the St. Louis Zoo.
