(KMOV.com) -- The National Council of Jewish Women – St. Louis Section (NCJW) and News 4’s Jasmine Huda helped underprivileged children shop for school clothes and supplies Sunday.
The NCJW’s Back-To-School! Store served over 1,000 area children, according to officials with the event.
Members of the NCJW said children received a hat, gloves and a coat to begin the school year.
The event began in 2001 and helps families from more than 40 community agencies and takes 500 volunteers to help.
