MADISON COUNTY (KMOV) – A 45-year-old man was charged in a circuit court Wednesday after allegedly holding two officers at gunpoint.

John T. Jenkins, 45, was charged Wednesday with two counts of aggravated assault by Madison County State’s Attorney Thomas D. Gibbons.

On Saturday, November 23, authorities say Jenkins knowingly pointed a .50 caliber black powder rifle at two officers during an altercation.

Bail has not been set.
