(KMOV.com) -- The St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man they say allegedly set-up a meeting with a 13-year-old girl in O’Fallon.

According to authorities, Kyle Andrew Bradbury told an undercover police officer who was posing as a teenage girl online that he was 32-years-old and that “age doesn’t really matter much.” Police also say that Bradbury sent a message that asked the girl, “would u like to go out sometime?”

A probable cause statement issued by St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney states that Bradbury continued to talk to the girl by sending sexually explicit messages.

Deputies say they arrested Bradbury at a gas station in O’Fallon on Saturday. They say he admitted to police he drove from his home in Hartford, Ill. to O’Fallon to pick up the young girl and bring her back to his home.

According to deputies, Bradbury gave police consent to search his phone officers recovered two images of child pornography. They say both images depicted children under the age of five.

Formal charges have not been filed yet.
