(KMOV.com) – A local woman is outraged after the tickets she bought for a concert turned out to be fake.

St. Charles resident Donna Craig thought she bought real tickets to the Bruno Mars concert Thursday at Scottrade Center. Craig said she exchanged texts with a person who posted the tickets on Craig’s List and met with the woman a few hours before the concert to make the transaction.

Craig said when she arrived at Scottrade Center she was told the tickets were lost or stolen. Craig said she paid $85 for the tickets and said she saw the same thing happen to six other people. Craig later called the woman who sold her the tickets but received no response.

Maryland Heights' police told Craig she probably will not get a refund, but she said something is more important than money.

“I want her to get in trouble, to go to jail or something. I don’t think she should get away with it because she acted like it was okay,” Craig said.

News 4 has learned the person who allegedly sold Craig the tickets has a criminal history that includes charges of felony forgery and stealing.

Craig said she was called to the Maryland Heights Police Department Friday night to identify the suspect in a line up. The department told News 4 they are investigating.
