SOUTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV) - Fans crowded into a local theater to watch the Cardinals on a big screen.

Ronnie's Wehrenberg Theater on Lindbergh Boulevard showed the game for free on two of its screens. The theater showed every game of the NLCS this year and the World Series last season, when the Cardinals defeated the Texas Rangers.

Monday, the mood was intense as the Giants built a large early lead.

Ronnies said they would have continued the free watch parties if the Cardinals had advanced to the World Series.
