(KMOV) – A school’s sex education lesson plan sparked national controversy after some said it was too risqué for kids.

It all has to do with a list that was posted as a part of a middle school sex-ed class in Kansas.

It reads “How Do People Express Sexual Feelings” then lists acts such as oral sex, masturbation and other graphic acts.

Some parents confronted administration about the lesson.

“Who approved this?  You know this had to pass through enough hands that someone should have said hey wait a minute these are 13-year-old kids,” said Mark Ellis, a father of a student at this school.

The school said the poster is a part of a greater lesson and stands by its decision to use it. Right now there are no plans to change it.
