Suspect sought following shooting at bus stop in North County

(KMOV) – Police are investigating a shooting at a North County bus stop that left one man injured Friday evening.

According to police, officers responded to the 10000 block of Glen Garry in Glasgow Village after receiving a call of a shooting.

The victim told police he was standing at a bus stop at Ben Nevis and Lookaway, when an unknown suspect(s) approached and shot him.

Following the shooting, the injured victim ran to a nearby house on Glen Garry and called police.

The victim was transported to Barnes Jewish Hospital in an unknown condition.  However, he was reportedly conscious and talking when leaving the scene.

Police are currently searching for a vehicle matching the description of a white Chevy Lumina with tinted windows.

The investigation is ongoing.
