(KMOV) – Following an investigation launched by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office in late June, an Elsberry man now faces a slew of charges after a report of sex abuse involving an 11-year-old girl.

Donovan Scott Daller, 19, was charged Tuesday with a felony first-degree statutory rape, felony first-degree attempted statutory sodomy, and three counts of felony first-degree child molestation according to authorities in Lincoln County.

According to authorities, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation in late June 2013 involving a sex offense against an 11-year-old female.

The reporting party told investigators she found the victim naked with Daller.

During a forensic interview, the victim told investigators Daller attacked her while she slept and took her clothing off.  Furthermore, the female disclosed two additional victims identified as 8 and 12 years of age.

According to authorities, the additional victims described the sexual abuse as a recurring event that lasted a period of several years in an Elsberry home along the 200 block of Blake Blvd.

Police said one victim stated Daller would offer her soda for a chance to touch her inappropriately when she was younger.

Additionally, victims told police they would attempt to fight off Daller during his advances.

During an interview with detectives, Daller laughed when questioned about the rape and denied all accusations.  Daller told investigators he could not remember anything on account of being highly intoxicated and awoken to the victim naked beside his feet.

Daller is currently being held at the Lincoln County Jail, where he remains on a $250,000 cash-only bond.
