NEW YORK (AP) -- If you're flying around in space, it's not like you can pull over and stop at an ATM. So, PayPal says it wants to come up with ways to make payments and do business outside of Earth's atmosphere.
The payment company -- owned by eBay -- says it wants to figure out how to handle transactions once space travel and tourism take off. It's launching a site called PayPal Galactic. Just don't go trying to book a flight into space with the idea you can use PayPal to pay for stuff just yet.
It's still unclear if regulatory and technical questions can be resolved before that happens.
